Rupa here this THURSDAY, with a video tutorial. Today I am going to be showing you lot of things that can done with the Cadence Textile sprays. Firstly, these sprays come in a range of colors. They can be used easily along with stencils or free hand. They are permanent and are washable. Iron on reverse of fabric when dry to seal the colors. Mild hand wash is only recommended. Am back after a 2 month vacation.yes, it's been long and I couldn't wait to start off! A new month and a new challenge at.it's always 'Anything Goes, Mixed media or altered art'! Now we have new members in the team and there's lots of inspiration there, so visit the blog and play along! This vacation saw me using my adult coloring book and I was skeptical to start coloring as I was not sure what I would do with the colored pages! Of course it was such a de stresser to color them, but what after that was a question! Here is what I decided to so with one of the colored pages from the book! I had used Inktense blocks to colors them and it was quite vibrant. I also had blank piece of wood lying in my studio and here sparked the idea! I took a laser print out of the colored page. The wood base was given a coat of chalk paint and then I applied the crackle medium few areas. Once this was dry, I applied the top coat. The owl was cut to shape and I used gel medium to adhere it face down on the base. An overnight wait and then I started working on the image transfer. Rubbing the paper off and here is what the out come is! I also fixed a piece of dark stained wood at the bottom with some 'C' hooks. Now this serves as a key holder.I love how a page from the coloring book now stands permanent on this block of wood! I am quite excited that the colored page has more value now!
